SMC or Specialty Marketing Corporation Critical Review ...
I loved happy days when I was a kid. Who does not? If I'm being honest, that is all I can think when I see "Howard" in the early morning infomercials.
Specialty Marketing Corporation is actually a funny thing. I know many people who make serious cash at flea markets and various events to travel with the products. To this end, and I am sure for many other end, I think SMC is a good source to purchase items that are re-sold in some capacity.
Now in my opinion only when it comes to doing business in line can not afford to have 1,000 different products. You really need as they say a good place, I mean unless you're Wal-Mart or something, which may be the luxury catalog, index, monitor and bill for all these products.
Now, with what you say you understand how a company drop shipping works as I use a printer and copier company to sell supplies through my copier dealer drop ship directly to my clients. However, online advertising is a difficult kind of thing and just trust me here, one or two products alone can be very difficult to promote thousands alone.
Maybe you could choose only those products related to a certain place and put them on one site. Then advertising like crazy and see what happens. No se. If you are going to go ahead with the Corporation Specialty Marketing or any similar program at least I confine myself to a few of what appear to be the best and most attractive products.
It is not necessary to call the largest group of people, but to find a product related to a small niche of people. In this case, actually the smaller the better place. Doma, cleaning fish tanks, plumbers or whatever. Then focus your advertising in places that people frequent specific.
If you place an ad in the newsletter Monthly Plumber line for a product intended to seal a tube ten times faster and easier than conventional methods at a reasonable price I'd bet you sell some sealant.
Either way, that's the idea when it comes to marketing this type of product. SMC and Tom Bosley (Howard) are quite good in my book. Specialty Marketing Corp. is a reputable company to buy the product and that is so important in finding a good businessman as the search, especially online can be endless. How do you know who to trust?
I have also heard that there is price fixing, even for those just starting at a point where you can get a good mark-up. As always, just have to know how and where to sell.
It is not as easy as the commercial and all such SMC infomercials would have you believe and I'm glad you do not have to worry about selling ten thousand and twenty small dollar items just to make a great couple.
By the way, is a big attraction back to this business. How many orders do you think would have to process an item of $ 20 for a price $ 5,000 a month? A lot I would say.
