Fish Tank Cleaner

Is your fish tank "really" Clean?
Maintaining your aquarium at the right temperature and pH balance, among them one of several types of "algae eating" fish, help keep the algae growth gets out of control. But no matter what I do, there will come a time when you need to clean the tank with your own hands.
That can be quite stressful if you have finally achieved a good balance in ecosystems ranging from your tank, we all have afraid to do something that will hurt our fish when we started cleaning.
More important data? Soap, in any form, is lethal to fish, even in small doses. Do not use soap in your tank, or on buckets or tools! I bought a new bucket for each tank that I have fixed, and labeled as "Aquarium" with big red letters that are not used for anything else.
Start by cleaning the glass inside your tank of algae with a scraper or pad labeled for aquarium use (those found in the grocery store often have soap or other chemicals in them.) You can use a razor blade to scrape any waste glass was really tough (Use a plastic tool to scrape an acrylic tank.)
Then you can remove and clean any decorations such as rocks or plants, which are visibly dirty. Just rub the cover of algae and rinsed with tap water. If something needs cleaning deeper, I soak for no more than fifteen minutes in a 10% solution of bleach (1 part bleach to 9 parts water), scrub, rinse and dry air to evaporate any remaining bleach.
Now that all the dirt that is removed from the cup and the plants have settled in the gravel, which can use a siphon to suck the rubble - there are plenty of different traps available.
Then clean the light, the roof and exterior glass aquarium with a higher safety clean. Trust me, you do not want to use regular household glass cleaners or lime - buy their chemicals in the fish store and rinse well!
Important Tip: When cleaning all visible algae from the tank, which has greatly reduced the number of bacteria available to keep the nitrogen cycle. I recommend NOT clean the filter at the same time, as has sufficient bacteria for a healthy cycle in the tank began again. Always wait two to three weeks after a aquarium cleaning before cleaning the filter.
If your filter using absorption (carbon, ammonia absorbers, ion-exchange resins), simply must be replaced. If this is a mechanical filter (ceramic rings, filter fiber, or sponges) that just wash gently in the water the same temperature as your tank, and quickly put in place - that way you will not kill all bacteria.
Finally, do not forget to clean all filter tubes and other nooks and cracks with a broom filter, the filter to work well.
